My part

Within the team, I worked on product decisions and design for a flow with search, maps, source links and export, and presented the project.

Tradeoff

Normalize enough fields to support useful search while keeping a trace back to each source record.

Evidence

Public product screens, Hack@LATAM site, and the team winner post.

01

The data problem

Public-spending records were split across portals and file formats. Following one vendor required manual cross-referencing, with weak links back to source material.

02

What we demonstrated

The prototype normalized records and exposed search by vendor, department, and region. Results retained source links and supported export.

03

Result

Faro won the transparency track at Hack@LATAM 2026. The award is sourced through the linked public winner post, not inferred from these product screenshots.
